Meet Our People
Charlie first joined Censeo in 2014 as a Summer Associate, while pursuing his MBA at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, and returned as a full-time Associate after graduating in 2015. Prior to Censeo, Charlie worked ten years as an engineer in the aerospace and defense industry, including positions in cybersecurity and project leadership.
Charlie’s favorite part of his work at Censeo is the inspiration and fulfilment that comes from helping various mission-driven clients achieve their goals of making a positive difference for their local and national communities. He also appreciates the opportunity to get involved with many firm-building aspects ranging from recruiting and training employees to helping define Censeo’s IT strategy. When not in the office, Charlie enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, playing golf, and attending Washington Capitals hockey games.
Favorite project to date: Helping develop a strategy to strengthen America’s cybersecurity.
Fun fact: Charlie likes finding and trying new microbrew beers, including exploring local brewers from everywhere he travels.
Jenny joined Censeo in 2015 after graduating from Duke University with a degree in political science and history, and receiving distinction for her thesis on the evolution of the consulting industry. While at Duke she was in three honor societies and served as the vice president of the Marketing Club.
Jenny enjoys the daily consulting experience of engaging with clients and tackling complex problems. Beyond project work, she enjoys helping with internal marketing initiatives and attending Censeo's “Women in Consulting” club events. Outside of the office, you can find her exploring DC’s art galleries, listening to live music, and rock climbing with friends.
Favorite project to date: An organizational assessment of a Virginia state university where she had the opportunity to interview over 30 deans and university leaders.
Fun fact: Jenny loves to travel and has collected over 150 souvenir pins from every city or country she has visited.
Daniel came to Censeo after having spent more than 13 years at different management consulting companies including the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Accenture (Strategy), where he worked with C-suite executives in Fortune 100 companies as a strategic advisor. While a Principal at BCG, he won the BCG Polaris Award for the Most Client Impact in IT Transformation.
Daniel was attracted to Censeo’s entrepreneurial culture where employees are encourage to pursue the topics they feel passionate about. At Censeo, Daniel focuses his energy on supporting mission-minded organizations such as not-for-profit associations, foundations and major federal agencies. In his spare time, Daniel loves to play with his baby daughter, attend musical performances and sporting competitions for his teenage kids, and volunteer for local ethnic and charity entities.
Favorite project to date: Organizational transformation work at the Common Application.
Fun fact: Daniel is a certified Korean translator / interpreter. His translated work can be seen at Monticello and DC-area hospitals.
Lisa is a financial manager on Censeo’s internal Operations team. She joined Censeo in 2011 after working in Project Control and Financial Planning roles within the Defense industry. After working for large Defense Contractors, Lisa was intrigued by Censeo’s “close knit” feel, and has been happy to discover that working in Operations for a small company has allowed her to see the direct impact her role has on the company and its growth. She loves the daily challenges that an always evolving company presents.
Lisa is an alumni of Elon University. Outside of the office, you can find her hiking, golfing and relaxing with friends & family.
Fun fact: Due to family work obligations, Lisa has lived in three states in the four years she has been with Censeo.
