Meet Our People
Alex joined Censeo in 2016 as a Business Analyst. Prior to joining the firm, he attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning a B.A. in Operations Management with a minor in Cinema Studies. At Censeo, Alex takes the lead on conducting and presenting research and analysis to help clients solve their toughest problems. Outside of client work, he supports the marketing team with writing articles and whitepapers. Alex's favorite part about working at Censeo? "Our clients are cool and are always in the news, our people like to laugh, and I get to be creative while also learning analysis skills."
Favorite project to date: Data governance initiative for federal agency's Division of Economic and Risk Analysis
Fun fact: Alex studied abroad in Sao Paulo, Brazil and speaks Portuguese.
Visha joined Censeo in 2014 as a Business Analyst. Prior to joining the firm, she earned a B.A. from Cornell University and a M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge. Visha has supported a number of universities, non-profits, and federal agencies, across growth strategy, operational efficiency and effectiveness, and data management projects. She has also been working on the firm's Diversity & Inclusion initiative. Visha first came to Censeo due to her interest in working in the social and public sectors. Over her time here, she has enjoyed working with truly smart, fun, and caring colleagues.
Favorite project to date: Working with a public university to identify opportunities to reduce costs and thereby not raise tuition for its students
Fun fact: Outside of the office, Visha enjoys training for races and travelling.
Christy joined Censeo in September 2006. Prior to Censeo she gained experience in high tech, media and communications industries before transitioning into consulting. Christy has worked with many large federal agencies to develop and support their IT and sourcing operations. Areas of expertise include IT consolidation and process improvement, strategic sourcing, and hardware and software acquisition strategies.
Christy was attracted to Censeo by the firms commitment to delivering quality results for clients while providing an engaging and nurturing environment for employees. She loves that "Censeo is all about people, from the driven, smart consultants within the firm to the clients motivated to improve their organizations and do the right thing."
Favorite project to date:A Strategic Sourcing program for a large government agency which over time has saved millions of tax payer dollars.
Fun fact: Christy studied various Japanese cultural arts, including dance, tea ceremony and calligraphy, while living abroad after college.
Willis joined Censeo in 2010 as a Business Analyst after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in bioengineering and economics. In his 5+ years at Censeo, Willis has supported a variety of major federal agencies on a range of engagements spanning strategic sourcing, operational cost reduction, workforce analysis, and performance improvement. Willis was first attracted to Censeo because of the high levels of responsibility given to junior staff, and the warmth and fun-loving spirit of the Censeans he met throughout the recruiting process confirmed that Censeo was the right place for him to start his career. Both of these tenets have held true throughout his tenure, as Willis has greatly appreciated the ability to take leading roles on both client projects and firm-building initiatives while enjoying the close social camaraderie of his colleagues at all levels of the firm. When not in the office, Willis enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and attending Washington Wizards basketball games as a three-years-and-counting season ticket holder.
Favorite project to date: Working closely with a Department of Defense client to negotiate a $25M+ deal with a well-known IT vendor
Fun fact: While travelling last summer, he somehow managed to run into the Wizards’ starting center, Marcin Gortat, while out one night in Krakow, Poland.
