Stephen Yuter is a recognized subject matter expert and dynamic thought leader in all facets of government contracting and federal acquisition. As a former procurement executive across multiple agencies, Mr. Yuter is currently an Engagement Manager with the Censeo Consulting Group. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President, Public Sector with FleishmanHillard and a Senior Manager with Deloitte, providing invaluable insights into strengthening go-to market strategies to support growth for both firms. Prior to joining industry, Mr. Yuter provided executive leadership for contracting operations, acquisition policy, and workforce development across the civilian and defense sectors, and served as source selection authority for over $10B of contracts.
An active member of the contract management and procurement community, Mr. Yuter served two terms on the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Board of Directors and is a current member of the Certification Oversight Body (COB). He previously served as Past President of the Potomac Chapter. Mr. Yuter is an NCMA Fellow and inductee of the President’s Circle Club. In addition to his involvement in NCMA, Mr. Yuter is a Fellow of the American Council for Technology (ACT)/Industry Advisory Council (IAC) and a graduate of the Partners Leadership Program. He is a current mentor in both organizations’ leadership development programs. He also maintains membership with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Mr. Yuter holds a B.S. in Marketing and Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, an M.S. in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, a Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. He is an adjunct faculty member at both the University of Virginia and The Public Contracting Institute.
