Group Named to Consulting Magazine’s “2009 Best
Small Firms to Work For” List
Firm Ranks #2 for Corporate Culture and Employee
Morale and Takes Top Spots in Career Development and Work/Life
Balance
Washington, D.C., September 21,
2009 - Censeo Consulting Group, a leader in supply
chain management and operations, announced today that it
has been selected as one of Consulting magazine’s
“2009 Best Small Firms to Work For.”
Each year, Consulting compiles rankings of the Best Small
Firms to Work For based on a comprehensive review based
on feedback from consultants working for those firms. This
year’s awardees have distinguished themselves as the
profession’s premier employers of choice for prioritizing
their consultants’ jobs and their entire workforce
despite challenging economic conditions.
In addition to being selected #6 overall in the small firms
category, Censeo ranked #2 in two categories: Corporate
Culture and Employee Morale. Censeo also received high marks
in the areas of Work/Life Balance and Career Development.
“This year, in particular, the firms on our annual
Best Firms to Work For list truly represent the profession's
gold standard,” said Joseph Kornik, editor-in-chief
of Consulting. “These firms not only offered outstanding
service to their clients, but they also kept their own employees
front and center in extremely challenging and even unprecedented
economic conditions. For that they should be celebrated.
The firms on this year's list excelled in several areas,
including: culture, compensation and benefits, career development,
client satisfaction and work/life balance.”
“Consulting’s recognition
is extremely meaningful to Censeo as it is based on how
our own employees view Censeo and their contributions within
our firm,” said Raj Sharma, President and CEO of Censeo.
“Our company has an incredible degree of stability
largely because our people are happy and passionate about
the impact they create on a daily basis. Because we put
such a premium on our people, we give them the flexibility
to work independently, while at the same time investing
in them to further their skills and careers.”
